My flower journey started many years ago planting flowers with my grandma.  We had such a good time together, mostly laughing at our mistakes.  One time we planted the Calla Lily bulbs upside down and kept wondering what was wrong with them, but our greatest story was the time we planted her glasses!!  We looked at each other and rolled on the ground laughing.  Needless to say, she got a new pair of glasses because we certainly weren't digging up all those Iris looking for them.  Then, there are the stories my mom and I shared gardening.  My favorite was when she let all the strawberries rot because we saw a snake in the patch.  For me, it was a dream come true because what kid wants to get up early on a summer morning to pick strawberries?  As I look at the three of us on this page, I realize that Pollen2Petals isn't just a flower farm - it is a legacy of love rooted in family connections and expressed through the beauty of flowers.
